Kent’s Bio:
Kent began his career with Joey Restaurants in 2000 as a server in the Calgary Barlow Trail restaurant. He moved up through the ranks very quickly and soon proved himself as restaurant manager material. When Joey made the decision to purchase restaurants in the Seattle area Kent jumped at the opportunity to be a part of this bold new move.
While in Seattle, he and his wife, Jasmine lived in Issaquah and found spiritual fulfillment by joining the Church on the Ridge. Opening a new restaurant requires the constant recruiting and training of dynamic people to work in the store and Kent soon became one of the top recruiters and trainers in the Joey chain.
3 years and 2 openings later, Kent was offered the position of regional manager in Vancouver, Canada. His first challenge was the opening of the Burrard store, followed by the take over of the Broadway store. Most recently he took on the challenge of Joey Restaurants new concept, Local Public Eatery. Here he participated in creating the vision and over saw the opening of the Local concept, which was a huge success and has expanded to three locations in just over a year.
